Jesus healed people when He walked this earth. But is divine healing still meant to happen today with any regularity? And is it always God’s will? In Christ the Healer, F.F. Bosworth asserts that “it is just as much God’s will to heal the body as to heal the soul.” He examines the Scriptures and presents a life-changing discussion of healing, based on the premise that Jesus redeemed us from our diseases when He atoned for our sins. He answers common questions and objections, such as Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”, and he relates just a few of the thousands of healing testimonies his ministry received.
Bosworth prayed earnestly that many thousands would learn to apply the promises of God’s Word through this book. Since its release in 1924, Christ the Healer has sold more than half a million copies and continues to encourage readers. This revised and expanded edition includes a brand-new foreword and epilogue on the remarkable life and healing of the author himself, written by his son.

As a young man, F.F. Bosworth (1877-1958) was diagnosed with tuberculosis, a disease for which at that time there was no cure in its later stages. Then a Christian woman challenged him to believe God’s Word and live for Him. Bosworth accepted her challenge, and when she prayed for him, he was instantly healed. Little did he know that God would call him to preach, and that his healing would be the seed for his ministry.
During the first half of the twentieth century, Bosworth conducted evangelistic and healing campaigns across the U.S. and launched the “National Radio Revival” ministry. At age 75 he went to Africa to preach and teach. His son, Robert V. Bosworth, editor of this edition, continues the ministry through World Outreach, Inc., African Evangelical Mission and Morning Watch.
