The Bible is the living, inspired Word of God, written down by men of God who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is eternal truth and without error. It reveals God and His plan to rescue people from sin through His Son Jesus Christ. All Scripture is Christ-centered: the revelation of who He is, what He has done, and what He will do in the future. The Bible also provides practical instruction. It is the standard, guide, and final authority for the Christian life. (Taken from Our Beliefs)
Let’s take a look at how God Himself describes His Word. If you can align your thinking with what He says, you will approach the Bible very differently and experience more of its power in your life.
You will see it as God speaking to you, so you’ll pay more attention to it.
You will have a greater respect for its authority, so you will apply it to every area of your life.
Your expectation will be higher, which will allow you to tap into its power.
The verses below will give you a strong foundation. If you have a tendency to be lukewarm toward God and the Bible, or find yourself taking the Bible “for granted” and forgetting its power, regular review of these verses will help you maintain an attitude that is both alert and expectant. Inspired and Profitable
2 Peter 1:20-21 — 20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 — 14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 — For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.

John 8:31-32 — 31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

Living and Powerful
Psalm 33:6 — By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host.
Hebrews 4:12-13 — 12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
John 6:63 — It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.
Acts 19:20 — So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing.

Unfailing
Jeremiah 1:12 — Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”
Isaiah 55:10-11 — 10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Reliable
Numbers 23:19 — God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Titus 1:2 — in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,
Has Purpose
Isaiah 55:10-11 — 10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
